Endeavour Mining acquired the Karma mine in Burkina Faso in 2016 and announced to start with gold production in April of that calendar year. Karma is usually a reduced-cost operation with six determined gold deposits, and it has a shallow open pit with a low strip ratio and no blasting demanded.
